GIZ is working with Uganda Landcare Network to provide climate smart agriculture training for farmers in northern Uganda. The training is part of the Promotion of Climate Smart Agriculture project (ProCSA) under GIZ’s Rural Development Programme. Climate smart agriculture practices aim at increasing productivity, adaptation to the effects negative of climate change, and reducing greenhouses gas emissions. The ProCSA project is funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
